About me

I grew up on a farm in the Lower Rhine region — an agricultural holding I now manage myself, with a particular interest in sustainable land stewardship and nature conservation. I am married and a mother. After completing my teaching studies in Münster, I spent six months working in a Christian social project in São Paulo, Brazil — an experience that shaped both my understanding of resilience and my respect for the particular difficulties of navigating life far from home. I completed my teaching practice at a demanding school in Solingen, and later spent some weeks supporting the leadership of Fazenda da Esperança, a residential community for people recovering from addiction.

I then worked for several years as a classroom and subject teacher at various primary schools while completing part-time advanced training as an Individual Psychological Counselor and Supervisor (DGIP) at the Alfred Adler Institute North in Delmenhorst. After my parental leave, I resumed my work in this field and have been further developing my expertise ever since.

My roots in agriculture and my encounters with people across very different walks of life have shaped the way I work. I have come to understand growth and change as natural processes — in the land, and in people. My practice is also guided by Christian values: respect for creation, a sense of responsibility, and genuine care for others. Against this background, and in light of my own personal development, I have deliberately chosen to pursue my professional path in Individual Psychology, Family Council facilitation, and Encouraging.

"Those who look at nature see not only what is, but also what can become."
