About me

I am married, a mother, and was raised on a farm in the Lower Rhine region, which I now manage myself. After completing my primary school teaching studies in Münster, I spent six months working in a Christian social project in São Paulo, Brazil. I completed my teacher traineeship at a challenging school in Solingen and later spent several weeks supporting the leadership of another Christian social project for people struggling with addiction.

I then worked for several years as a classroom and subject teacher at various primary schools while completing part-time advanced training as an Individual Psychological Counselor and Supervisor (DGIP) at the Alfred Adler Institute North in Delmenhorst. After my parental leave, I resumed my work in this field and have been further developing my expertise ever since.

My roots in agriculture, my encounters with diverse people, and my longstanding interest in human development have shaped my perspective on life. I view growth and change as natural processes—both in nature and in people. My work is also guided by Christian values such as respect for creation, responsibility, and compassion. Against this background, and in light of my own personal development, I have deliberately chosen to pursue my professional path in Individual Psychology, Family Council facilitation, and Encouraging.

"Those who look at nature see not only what is, but also what can become."

My other professional activities

  • Vocational support and reintegration: I support people in a wide variety of areas to help them with career orientation and reintegration. I involve other institutions where appropriate.

  • Charitable work and organizational activities: I worked in a church community in various pastoral settings with adults and children, collaborating, as needed, with a psychological and neurological practice and other supporting organizations. In addition to various charitable activities, my responsibilities included general life counseling, practical life coaching, and bereavement support. I was also affiliated with a refugee initiative and led the working group developing a sexual abuse prevention concept.

  • Elementary school teacher: I was both a homeroom teacher and a subject teacher. During this time, I also participated in continuing education courses, particularly in communication, conflict resolution and prevention, and drama. I also began my training as an individual psychological counselor and supervisor, which I completed during my parental leave.

  • Social projects: I participated in a Christian social project in Brazil for six months and completed a two-month internship in Germany at a Christian social institution for addicts, the Fazenda da Esperança.
