About me

Outside of my counseling practice, I manage my parents’ farm. I'm married and the mother of one child. The experience I gain from this also flows into my work.

My other professional activities

  • Vocational support and reintegration: I support people in a wide variety of areas to help them with career orientation and reintegration. I involve other institutions where appropriate.

  • Charitable work and organizational activities: I worked in a church community in various pastoral settings with adults and children, collaborating, as needed, with a psychological and neurological practice and other supporting organizations. In addition to various charitable activities, my responsibilities included general life counseling, practical life coaching, and bereavement support. I was also affiliated with a refugee initiative and led the working group developing a sexual abuse prevention concept.

  • Elementary school teacher: During my time as a teacher, I participated in continuing education courses, particularly in communication, conflict resolution and prevention, and drama. I also began my training as an individual psychological counselor and supervisor, which I completed during my parental leave.

  • Social projects: I participated in various social projects in Brazil for six months and completed a two-month internship in Germany at a Christian social institution for addicts, the Fazenda da Esperança.

Professional qualifications

  • Part-time training as an Individual Psychological Counselor/Supervisor according to the guidelines of the German Society for Individual Psychology (DGIP) with a certified qualification at the Alfred Adler Institute North eV, 2013 - 2017

  • Second State Examination for Primary School Teaching, 2008 - 2010, with several years of professional experience
